For the first time visually impaired people will be able to feel the amazement, drama and emotions of some of the most impressive photos.
For the first time in Ukraine the new concept photo exhibition which can be seen by hands, took place in Kyiv.
The journey into the world of blind, and the real discover for the seeing.
Next to the color photo is its tactical analog, a transparent raised file made of polymer.
The tactile photo exhibition based on the Youriy Bilak's collection "Ukrainians", that have been already shown in Kiev, Lviv and Bucharest in 2007. The exhibition had a great success and a broad publicity in media. The "Ukrainians" was seen seen by more than 15 000 of visitors.
The next step was the project "Touch and see", which aim is to give a chance for the blinded people to learn art of the photo.
"I was inspired by the modern technologies, which are used by Aurélie Pallard, Michel Bris and Hoëlle Corvest-Morel for the "Louvre museum" and for the "Cité des sciences et de l'Industrie de Paris", Pierre Fustier for the embossed files printing.
I realized that I have to invent another "language", which will be completely indifferent to the light, shadows, colors and especially to the perspective."
For the first time blind people will be able to see the photos, to share their emotions with their seeing friends.
